COURT RULING ON POLICE RECRUITMENT


The much anticipated Police Recruitment could possibly today 21st October 2025 come into limelight following the Impending court ruling,

The exercise was suspended by the Employment and labour relations court following a petition filed by legislator John Harun Mwau.

The recruitment exercise was to commence on 3rd-9th october.

Today the court will give a ruling which could probably be followed by a fresh dates for the exercise

The National police service wished to absorb 10,000 fresh youths to the service.

  • Key requirements:
    • Kenyan citizenship. 
    • Minimum KCSE grade of D+. 
    • Age between 18 and 28 for Diploma/Certificate holders, and 18 and 30 for Degree holders. 
    • No criminal record.

  CS Murkomen condoles with IG Douglas Kanja following death of his father Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and his family following the passing of his father, Mzee Weston Kirocho Kanja. CS Murkomen expressed his deep sympathy to the family, describing Mzee Kanja’s death as a great loss not only to his loved ones but also to all who knew him. He assured the family of the government’s and his ministry’s continued support during the difficult period. “We stand in solidarity with the family, offering our heartfelt prayers and support during this time of immense grief,” Murkomen said.
